Description:
In order to actively respond to the new challenges of global climate changes and environmental resource constraints, fully practice green development concept, actively promote the transformation of the development mode, and promote coordinated development of population, resources, environment, economics, society as well as ecology in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan region, this book mainly focuses on the status, trends and countermeasures of carrying capacity in this region, doing comprehensive survey and making systematic research on the carrying capacity of this region and its mega-cities, in the hope of providing decision-making reference for the governments of this region.
The book consists of three parts: general reports, special subject reports and appendix, amount to 15 reports. The current achievements of this book attribute to authors all over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan region. They are professors and scholars from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Rinmin University of China, Capital University of Economic and Business, Beijing Academy of Social Science, Hebei University of Technology, University of Business and Economics in Hebei, Tianjin Administration Institute and Tianjin Economic Development Institute, etc.
