The Common prosperity index designed in the general report is composed of 7 secondary indicators, including economic development, social structure, residents' income and property, accessibility of public goods, people's quality of life, income distribution fairness and life health, and 32 tertiary indicators. As a demonstration area of Common prosperity, Zhejiang has significantly improved the quality and efficiency of economic development, continued to narrow the gap between urban and rural regional development, achieved new results in the construction of beautiful Zhejiang, made people's lives better, and improved the institutional system to promote Common prosperity. The general report calculates the Common prosperity index of China and Zhejiang Province from 2013 to 2021. From the measurement results of the Common prosperity index, China's Common prosperity has improved significantly in recent years. From 2013 to 2021, the national Common prosperity index increased from 19.41 points to 46.35 points, an increase of 138.8%. In 2021, the seven secondary indicators in China increased by 138.4%, 138.1%, 138.8%, 138.9%, 139.1%, 139.2%, and 139.1% respectively compared to 2013. In recent years, the overall trend has maintained a continuous upward trend. During this period, the Common prosperity index of Zhejiang Province increased from 46.35 points to 76.61 points. In 2021, the seven secondary indicators of Zhejiang Province increased by 65.3%, 65.3%, 65.4%, 65.3%, 65.3%, 65.4%, 65.4% and 65.4% respectively from 2013.
