What is the exact income inequality level in China? There are too much debates related to the exact income inequality level in recent years. Gan (2012) believes that the Gini coefficient of income e inequality in 2010 is 0.61, while the result of National Bureau of Statistics in the same year is 0.48. In this book, we compare different estimation results and also provide a result that can be compared to other countries.
