In 2009, it is 110th anniversary of Wang Yirong (王懿荣) discovering the inscriptions on animal bones and tortoise shells of the Shang Dynasty, and the China Shang Dynasty Culture Society would hold the high-standard and high-level international academic conference in Wang Yirong’s hometown Yantai City on August 12. To commemorate Wang Yirong, the father of inscription on animal bones and tortoise shells, to promote the development of the science of inscription on animal bones and tortoise shells and of the Shang Dynasty culture research, and to display the current recent research findings, our Society specially invited domestic and overseas attendee experts to write the paper, and has compiled "Collection of Papers on International Academic Seminar for 110th Anniversary of Wang Yirong Discovering Inscriptions on Animal Bones and Tortoise Shells (2009)".
