Currently, Social Sciences Academic Press possesses a high quality work team of over 130 members for editing, publishing and sales business which consists of young doctors and masters as the main body and a group of senior experts of CASS from different disciplines. SSAP have 16 departments that include six editing departments: Department of Social Sciences Books, Department OF Financial, Economic and Management Books, Center of Annual Reports, Center of Translated Books, Center of Editing and Compilation and Periodicals & Magazines Department; two sales departments: Distribution Department and Center of Networking; four public service departments: Marketing Department, Logistics Center, Publication Department, International Publication Center and Art-design Department and four composite managing departments: General Editing Office, Human Resources Department, Financial Department and General Office. All of these departments are constructing an effective cooperation structures and working organization for SSAP.

Of which, International Publication Center takes charge of copyright trade, international communication and foreign affairs service. The center focuses on the development of international market and establishment of the international cooperation platform throughout conforming resources of Social Sciences Academic Press and other academic publication in Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Russia and South Korea. Translation and Editing Department mainly takes charge of editing and translating foreign works.
