On December 13, 1937, after the Japanese invasion and occupation of Nanjing, they blatantly violated international conventions and massacred Chinese soldiers who had laid down their weapons and unarmed civilians, creating the tragic Nanjing Massacre, which has left an extremely dark page in the history of human civilization.

In order to further clarify the historical facts of the Nanjing Massacre, the Institute for the History of the Nanjing Massacre and International Peace has selected nearly 200 archival materials and historical pictures from four aspects: the Chinese side, the Japanese side, third parties and the post-war trials, and compiled this book.
